Our journey to China is right around the corner and we still need $3500 in order to travel. We hope with this final fundraiser, we will be able to complete our adoption and begin making prepartions to bring Anna Li home.

We will be giving away a 4 days/3 nights Florida Vacation for the week of July 1-4th courtesy of Paul and Reba Harper.

We will be selling tickets for $10 for the next 3 weeks.

The drawing will be held on June 21st at Sportsman Lake Park.

There will be food, fun, games, and a prize giveaway.

Our Referral!!!!

Computer Problems

I was so excited to post our referral and of course our computer starts acting up. We will post our referral as soon as we get the problem figured out. I will tell you about our referral day....

We got our referral May 20th around 4:30pm. We tried to get a picture of the UPS man holding our referral but he looked at us like we were crazy and said, "No, that's against policy." Doesn't he know rules were made to be broken!?! We got a picture of him leaving. hee! hee!! We went to our favorite Chinese Restaurant (The Golden Phoenix) for supper to celebrate. We got our picture made with our waiter and we shared China stories with them. When we got home we signed our Seeking Confirmation Letter and of course took more pictures of our wonderful night. We are so excited to be one step closer to bringing our Anna Li home!!

The Call

Lori from Children's Hope called today to let us know our SCL (Seeking Confirmation Letter) had arrived!! We have been waiting 1 month and 28 days for this to come. Tomorrow we will receive our referral via the UPS man. Next step is getting our TA (Travel Approval). In normal circumstance we would travel in 6-8 weeks (July) but due to the Olympics things are moving at a lot slower pace. We are hoping to bring her home in September! Tune in tomorrow for referral news. We will be sitting on the front porch waiting for the UPS man!! lol!

Bethany (my 9 year old daughter) has created her own blog!!!
Please check it out!! She has a counter at the bottom and it is
the highlight of her day to see how many people have looked
at her blog. Sometimes I pull it up just to give her more hits!!

We had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo day as we feasted on
nachos at the local Casa Fiesta!!
